Central on Central. CSX W003 (Geometry Train) makes its way across the diamond in Crestline, Ohio on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 3, 2021. CSX GP40WH-2 9969 (ex-MARC 69, née-New York Central Railroad 3051, GP40) is a unique engine in the fleet. While it has made some appearances in freight service, it is equipped with Head End Power for the geometry cars. This was once the intersection of the New York Central and Pennsylvania Railroads, with several passenger trains a day stopping here and taking riders to New York, Chicago, St. Louis, and Cincinnati, but today sees only freight.
