A quick roster shot of the 654 since this ended up being the only we were able to shoot the nose of the engine in good since they continued to do what I refer to as #hartwellthings as usual. This engine, as the the paint scheme would indicate, was originally built in January of 1970 for the Elgin, Joliet, & Eastern Railway. It ran for them until 2010 when the Hartwell acquired it & it has since been one of the favorite engines of the shortline.
