Way back in 1877, the Reading Company built its "Trenton Branch' originating from a wye along its Philadelphia, PA to Jersey City main at West Trenton. While the stub end passenger station at Warren Street is sadly long gone, this 1888 built Philadelphia and Reading Railroad freight station survives, albeit, as the City of Trenton's "Reading Senior Citizen Center". The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1979.
