Remarks & Notes |
INRD’s SAHW (Senate Ave-Hiawatha Yard) mixed freight train heads over the Famous Tulip Viaduct in Southwestern Indiana (Tulip, IN) with Indiana Rail Road’s 25th Anniversary Unit leading another INRD SD9043MAC and a SD40.
The Tulip Trestle is 2,250 feet in length and was built in 1905. It is also known as the largest railroad trestle bridge in Indiana. It may not look big in photos, but it’s quite a sight to see in person! |
