| This empty coal train destined for Shire Oaks,PA is seen snaking it's way up the Susquehanna river as it passes through the small hamlet of Peach Bottom. There's little here to remind one that this line was once electrified and hosted dozens of daily trains pulled by mighty Gs and E44s! The train's hind end is just visible exiting the Williams Tunnel in the bottom right corner of the frame about 1 mile away. |
