This ConAgra SW1200, working the Gavilon Grain elevator in Saginaw, Texas, rolled out of General Motors Diesel’s London, Ontario, factory as Canadian National 1317, but after service on the CN, it was purchased by Burdick Grain, where it retained the 1317 number. It was then sold to Peavy Grain, becoming PVYX 1317, and assigned to Huron, Ohio. When photographed in Saginaw, Texas, on October 14, 2011, it was lettered for new owner ConAgra (CAGX) 13170. These Canadian SW1200s are usually called SW1200RS locomotives, although that is not the model assigned by builder GMD.
