Reading Company's Churchville freight station did not share the good fortune granted the restored station seen just to the east. The spur came in from the west, bottom right while another spur once branched off to the right by the station, I assume for a commercial property. Today, the former Reading / SEPTA Newtown line is out of service, seeing its last commuter train in 1983. The home is leased and serves as a private residence. Though the track remains to this day, it will soon be removed, and the right of way paved as an extension of the Pennypack trail.
