First special interest unit I’ve shot on the Lehigh Line in quite at long time, but it was quite fitting to do it with this one. NS 4001 leads 62V past the Clinton Industrial siding in Landsdown hauling a full train of New Jersey’s finest exports towards the processing plants in Kearny, as I’m sure almost anyone knows, 4001 was involved in a major wreck years ago that rendered it unserviceable, and received pretty much a complete remanufacture from the ground up in Juniata. 62V marked 4001’s first ever daylight run on the Lehigh Line following the overhaul (2/27/21).
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
