The 1200 horsepower cogwheel railcar BDhe 4/4 # 5 of the Rigibahnen, built in 1965 by SLM, BBC and SIG, is slowly running down the 25.0 % grade between Rigi Kaltbad-First and Romiti Felsentor, with train CC 1134 from Rigi Kulm to Vitznau. The cars are B # 1 from 1871 (when the Rigi Bahn was built, delivered by the SCB [Schweizerische Centralbahn] works in Olten) and B # 16 (built in 1925 by SWS Schlieren). In the cab of the railcar is a green sign with a white stripe, which says that another train is following on sight distance. You can see railcar Bhe 2/4 # 3 in the far distance. In wintertime, the railcars of the Rigibahnen have ski holders mounted outside of the carbody, on one side only.
