Remarks & Notes |
It's as beautiful evening in Salt Lake City. The temperature is nice, even thought the Wasatch mountain range is still showing it's winter beauty. It's suddenly peaceful as the Utah Railway RUT311 rolls through and will leave Union Pacific North yard void of all action. Just prior to this it was choas. As Three Union Pacific freight's occupied the three out side tracks. Also in the bustle the Utah RUT312 came through. The RUT311 got the short end of the stick in the log jam. First getting stopped at 2nd south. then getting stopped. Again at 6th north for about 40 minutes out of position. The last UP freight had to cross over multiple tracks to get around the 311. Then the UP local YSC53 (Chevron local) had to clear on the outside main. The RUT311 was finally able to work over to the outside main and get through the yard, shortly before sunset. |
