Sherman Summit
The Sherman geology shares its wonders in the cut directly west of Sherman Hill summit on Sunday March 7, 2021. Eastbound double size manifest from Pocatello, ID destination North Platte with UP 7487 on the point growls by at a steady pace of 30 mph. The iron rich deposits at this location near the Sherman summit reveal the intensity of the reds against the mottled green common to the Highlands rich in Epidote. |
