An frosty eastbound auto train out of Colorado bound for Chicago pass thru Nelson on the UP Geneva Sub. The overnight low was around -4, so things are a bit chilly this morning. This train will setout a motor at Global 3, which seem to be the place for this subdivision, as everyone seems to have work there! The train is 35 miles east of Clinton, IA, the last crew change point. The old coaling tower at Nelson can still be seen standing tall, but rumors always talk about how it will be its last year.
