A trio of EMD GP60Ms, Nos. 150, 111 and 137, round Houlihan’s Curve just west of Chillicothe, Illinois at 4:30 p.m. on August 24, 1991. This is Santa Fe’s 199 train, and is getting up to a good speed for the short climb over Edelstein Hill. The hottest of the hot, the 199 train was a premium Chicago to the Richmond piggyback, and always rated some of the newest power on the railway.
