Remarks & Notes |
A Railjet push-pull express train on a Graz to Vienna Airport service crosses the Krausel-Klaue Viaduct and the ultra-short Kleiner Krausel Tunnel on its descent of the Semmeringbahn line in Austria, photographed from a less usual vantage point above the portal of the Polleros Tunnel (the "standard" spot at track level was occupied by an older railfan while his son operated the drone at top right in the picture - this is a busy place). The advance signals at the Polleros tunnel entrance weren't installed until the maintenance measures in the last few years (finally enabling the switching of the line from left-driving to right-driving like in the rest of the country at the end of 2019), but the concrete catenary poles weren't replaced with visually more appealing steel ones like on other bridges. |
