Metrolink F125 936 leads train 806 (Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo to San Bernardino) as it rolls into the Irvine station on the carrier’s Orange Sub. Shortly after departing this station the train will cross from Track 1 to Track 2 as Track 1, the track normally used for northbound traffic, is out of service between CP Tinkham and CP Aliso, including through the Tustin station, because the mainline is being rebuilt. Earlier this day, SCAX F59PHs 856 and 868 were on the siding on the left, after unloading new rail in the Tustin area. (Irvine, California – March 16, 2021)
