What Do Subway Cars Eat?. The Shore Line Trolley Museum's former Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA New York City Transit subway car R-17 6688 (St. Louis Car Company, 1955-56) departed from the museum's Sprague Station in East Haven, Connecticut on Thursday, March 18, 2021 with the assistance of Silk Road Transportation. The caravan is seen passing the Milford, Connecticut rest stop on Interstate 95 with its “Subway” restaurant. It headed south to New York City on rubber tires, where it will be part of an upcoming but undisclosed film production.
