Just after sunrise on a cool March morning, Norfolk Southern train 22k (Chicago, IL - Ayer, MA) notches up out of the siding in Afton, NY after being passed by its westbound counterpart, 23K. Ex D&H searchlights still stand guard here, along with a pitchfork bracket from the original signal installation.
