On the afternoon of July 15, 2013, Canadian National coal train No. 769 slowly loads at Teck’s Luscar Mine near Cadomin, Alberta. This loadout was part of Teck’s Cardinal River Operation located on a line operating out of Leyland called the Luscar Industrial Spur. The mine produced steelmaking coal for 51 years and, unfortunately, ceased operations in June 2020.
