A pair of UP SD40-2s are more than ample for the local west from Altoona, WI to Hudson and back. Led by UP 1932, built as UP 3206 in April 1973, and rebuilt as an SD40N, the power left cars at North Menomonie to take a few loads out to Hudson. Here they return light and will shortly pick up cars and head back toward Altoona.
