The rotary steam snow blower R # 12 (Xrot d # 9212) of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke is turning the 2,5 meter/6,7 feet diameter blowing wheel with up to 150 turns per minute. This vehicle, built in 1913 by SLM Winterthur for the Rhaetian Railway, main network, has been completely reconstructed during 18 years by Martin Horath and his team, and is now fully operational.
