Remarks & Notes
A westbound BNSF double stack train departs Lyle, Washington, on a beautiful September 24, 2016, afternoon in the Columbia River Gorge. It looks like an intermodal train, but in actuality is an empty garbage train returning to western Washington after unloading its unwanted contents at the Roosevelt Regional Landfill.
