Remarks & Notes |
After getting burned by this train last week. I was a little smarter today. The RUT312 doesn't usually go down the outside rail of Union Pacific North yard RG runner. They take one of the inner rails. If there is a freight in the parked in the yard it will block you. Last week they were lined up just like this with me set up north of here, I could see them on the out side rail. They then went out of sight. and I never saw them again. I went back and couldn't find them, after I had sat waiting for them to come for 30 minutes. Today I shot off the bridge not know what rail they would come down. They switched all the way over to the RG runner and I was able to move into position to get my shot. After they got under the bridge they stopped. I still wasn't that smart as I hurried back to my car hoping to get a second shot. I when to my go to shot to the north. Once again they when out of sight. But this time I went back to see what they were doing. They pushed all the way back onto the Lynndyl Subdivision through Grant Tower. I believe to interchange with the Salt Lake and Garfield. |
