A late afternoon outbound SEPTA commuter train crosses the tracks of the Northeast Corridor just shy of North Broad Street station as it makes its way over to the Chestnut Hill West line. Both lines, former PRR. Just ahead, not in view, the Reading Company (now SEPTA) has its junction with parallel lines into the city, out to New Jersey and a branch to Chestnut Hill - Chestnut Hill East, that is.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
