| The Iowa Northern's North Crew pulls out of the Manly Terminal southbound. The crew has to get permission and throw 2 electric locked switches.to enter the UP Albert Lea Sub Main for the short block run to get from their yard to the IANR main. This is the far north end of the IANR, and the crew now will work back to Waterloo with stops at Nora Springs and Butler. This area used to be where the Rock Island out of St. Paul split into 2 mainlines. One to K-City and the other to Burlington, IA. The UP side is the old Spineline to KC now. |
