Snow is beginning to fly and obscures Sandpoint, Idaho, on the afternoon of February 4, 2021, as a westbound BNSF stack train off the Hi Line crosses the long bridge over Lake Pend Oreille and is about to meet an eastbound grain train at East Algoma. Work on a second bridge to eliminate the bottleneck is ongoing, with work during the time of the photo being done on the approaches of the new bridge.
