| Our D&S Railfest special with the 315 and green painted passenger cars was slowly working its way north to Silverton when we stopped about MP 492 for several runpasts. Between being down in a deep hole and afternoon thunder clouds, most of the runbys were in the dark. But for one runby the sun came out gloriously and I got lucky. The 315 is owned by the Durango Railroad Historical Society and is currently visiting the Cumbres and Toltec, where it will be one of the stars of their Victorian railways celebration later this year. |
