On June 3, 2011, HLCX 5960 (ex-NS 6523 exx-HLCX 5960, exxx-CRIX 5960, exxxx-UP 5960, née-CNW 8030, SD60, 9/1986) leads a Norfolk Southern Corp manifest train over former Norfolk & Western bridge that spans the Potomac River from Sharpsburg, Maryland to Rumsey Point in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. In a expedient move to get the engine out on the road, a line was placed through the Union Pacific name, but the armour yellow was not so easy to hide. This unit still operates today as NS SD60E 6938. The train itself may have been the second most photographed train of the month, as an A-B-B-A + 17 car Norfolk Southern Office Car Special would be the next southbound 2 hours later.
