Ontario Midland ALCo RS-36 number 408 hauls two cars eastbound on the ex New York Central Hojack line near Sodus, NY. The locomotive would soon drop the cars on one leg of the wye at Wallington, before continuing to North Rose to pickup a reefer.
New York state has the largest number of ALCO diesel locomotives working in everyday service. Here are some of them. Soon I hope to chronicle all of them.
