Anthracite Railroads Historical Society's 1948 built EMD F3 No. 56, former Bangor & Aroostook, sits in the former CNJ yard at Jim Thorpe, PA. This is a unique shot of the venerable locomotive as it has been assigned as No. 56 for the move to Steamtown. In the past, following CNJ's numbering scheme, it had been assigned a number shared with sister unit No. 57 (owned by Tri-State Railroad Historical Society) being "56-57", seen in this image here from 2007.
