| Bombardier built doubledeck train "FVD" (Fernverkehrs Doppelstockzug) RABe 502 # 208 of the SBB, a "IR200" version, is running the IR 13 line IR 3261 from Zürich via St.Gallen to Chur, along the Rheintaler Binnenkanal between St.Margrethen and Au SG. Fun fact: The two houses up in the forest are "fake" and in reality camouflage for gun emplacements of the military fortress Heldsberg, which was built between 1938 and 1941 at the time of the Second World War and is operated as a museum since 1993. |
