Big Sixty Trestle
The Toledo Hauler lifts a heavy eastbound cut of paper up the west slope of the Coast Range, across the Big Sixty Trestle. The reason for the name Big Sixty seems to have been lost to time, however the height seems to be approximately 60 feet high, perhaps this is where the name came from? The railroad was originally the Oregon Pacific, later the Southern Pacific and currently a arm of the Genesee & Wyoming .
