The four car preserved 'Tait' set passes through Heathmont, during a test/crew training run that visited Ashburton, Lilydale, Belgrave, Batman and Glen Waverley. Historic electric trains have been unable to run in Melbourne since early 2004. But after a lot of hard work behind the scenes, this beautiful train has finally returned to the network, and will soon be able to run public tours again.
