Remarks & Notes |
Regional train R 234 of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGBahn) from Zermatt to Visp is crossing the 66 meter long concrete Mühlebach viaduct between Kalpetran and Stalden-Saas. This viaduct was built in 1959 new in concrete, replacing a bow truss bridge of 1891. The cogwheel locomotive HGe 4/4 II # 4 "Täschhorn" is shoving the 6 car push-pull train. The locomotive was built in 1990 by SLM and ABB for the Brig-Visp-Zermatt Bahn (BVZ). |
