Remarks & Notes

The CSX Track Geometry train (symbol W003) heads west down the former Rock Island in Marseilles with GP40WH-2 #9969 in charge. The nicely restored depot in town provided a nice photo op on this sunny, but very hot afternoon. The train is bound for nearby Ottawa and would return east the next morning.
