| Cogwheel diesel "tractor" Tmh # 985 of the Dampfbahn Furka-Bergstrecke (DFB) is running through the gorge of the Furkareuss towards Realp DFB, pulling the little cart (no number) which serves to lubricate the rack rail. The Tmh # 985 was built in 1963 for the 1 meter gauge Brünigbahn of the SBB and came to the DFB in 2004. New Cummins motor (QSB 6.7) and numerous alterations and improvments since 2017. For the construction and track maintenance crew of the DFB this is a very important vehicle. |
