| CN 2939 steps off the Missabe Sub and briefly onto a section of track which is former DM&IR, complete with Missabe era date nails still in the ties. These two foreground tracks are used by a rock crushing operation on nearby United Taconite property that crush taconite rock for blast furnace trim and waste rock for other uses and they interchange with CN who drops off empties and picks up loads. |
