Sunrise at the Training Tower.. Departing Russell Yard bound for Duke Energy's Marshall Steam Station near Sherrills Ford NC, CSX N758-01 passes through downtown Ashland with the CSX "Honoring First Responders" unit leading 110 cars of Mon Valley coal.
Out to greet the passing train this early morning is the crew of Ashland Fire Department's Station 1 and their apparatus:
- Tower 1, a 2001 Sutphen 100' ladder
- Rescue 1, a 2021 Spartan Glaadiator/SVI heavy rescue
- Battalion Chief's Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD
- Engine 1 (former Rescue 4) a 2008 Sutphen Shield pumper |
