Dual power electro/battery locomotive Eea 936 # 131 of StadlerRail arrived in Erlen, coming from St.Margrethen, with the brand new first doubledeck KISS train for Serbia. In january 2021, the Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure called for tenders for three 200km/h EMUs for use on the Beograd – Novi Sad – Subotica route for delivery by October 2021. In april 2021 the contract for three of these trains from Stadler for a maximum speed of 200 km/h were signed for the modernised line from Beograd to Novi Sad (-Subotica). Now, after about half a year only, Stadler has the first train ready for commissioning in the Erlen center!
