| As the sun drops down over Lake Michigan BNSF 6379 Leads a two unit empty coal train with 130 cars to Chicago , Here seen along the only small section of railway along the Lake Michigan Shoreline - Hauling empty coal from the West Olive Michigan Consumers Energy power plant. The power plant is scheduled to close 2025. This will be the end of coal trains on the West Side of Michigan sadly. |
