The TRANS EUROP EXPRESS RAe TEE II # 1053 of SBB Historic, based in Olten, came to the Gotthard for a two days visit on the occasion of the GotthardBahnTage, and made three round trips between Erstfeld and Göschenen on both days. The iconic train of 1961 is passing the baroque St.Albin church of Silenen, built in 1745, between Erstfeld and Amsteg-Silenen, on the first trip on saturday.
