Monongahela's No.1216 Class DFA-8A was a 1600hp RF-16 "Sharknose" built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1951 for the New York Central. MRY's 1216 was former NYC 1216, nee NYC 3816. Photo from my collection, no photographer listed on slide.
