In addition to multiple pieces of unique equipment, the Nevada Southern State Railroad Museum offers a fun and unique experience to rail bike a 4 mile section of their line. This line is significant in the fact that it was built in 1931 specifically to transport supplies and equipment for the building of the Hoover Dam project.
Now you can enjoy a mostly downhill ride on a rail bike, then hop aboard the museum train to be transported back to the station in Boulder City. Hats off to the Museum staff for providing a fun experience which was well run and enjoyable by all!
