| "Remnants of the Electric Freight Days"
An eastbound Metro-North Railroad train passes the abandoned New Rochelle Coal & Oil siding as it heads up Track 3 on the New Haven Line during the morning of October 23rd, 2021. This piece of track is one the few, if not only, surviving examples of the many electrified industrial sidings that were used to deliver goods during the New Haven Railroad era.
