It is 6:14 AM on a foggy day that is so wet it is almost sprinkling, BNSF Railway train H-SDGBAR8-13 pauses in the railroad's San Bernardino B Yard, about two-thirds of the way into its trip from San Diego to Barstow. BNSF ES44C4 6842 and Union Pacific SD70ACe 8562 are the power for this train. (San Bernardino, California – December 14, 2019). Photographed on railroad property with permission and full PPE.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
