With the early morning sun glistening on her polished flanks, the 425 gets ready to give the fans an unforgettable ride during the C&TS 50th anniversary. Born as Florence and Cripple Creek #3, Elkton, she was bought by the D&RG after her home road was abandoned. She was renumbered 425 and later became the 315. For a period, she also saw service on the fabled Rio Grande Southern. What a beautifully proportioned classic of the Victorian era.
