On the very first publicly advertised trip after the large technical revision,the red/cream "TRANS EUROP EXPRESS", the RAe TEE II # 1053 trainset of SBB Historic made a journey from Zürich via the Gotthard line to Luino in Italy. The train is now standing in the swiss/italian border station on the shore of the Lago Maggiore.
