The 2018 Capital Region Toys for Tots train was lead by Norfolk Southern SD60Es 7030 and 7014 and Juniata Terminal Company E8s 5711 and 5809, seen passing the Perdue/AgriBusiness facility in Binghamton, New York on December 1, 2018. The 8 car train operated across the former Delaware & Hudson Railroad to distribute toys and clothes to communities across the region, for the first time with private varnish. Norfolk Southern, Juniata Terminal, Webb Rail, and the New York Susquehanna & Western Railway worked together with Capital Region Toys For Tots to make the event a success.
