| The one and only Utah Transit Authority RP39-2C rests between assignments at one of the UP yards in Salt Lake City. Apparently when UTA built their right of way through the middle of the yard, UP demanded a unit as compensation for needing to use an extra engine to switch here, so UTA purchased this ex-L&N GP40 from Virginia Railway Express for the UP yard crew to switch with. |
