West Shore 233. Mohawk, Adirondack, and Northern 2453 (née-Erie Lackawanna 2453, Alco C425, 10/1964) passes the West Shore Railroad "NY 233" milepost at French Road in Utica, NY on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Due to a mechanical failure of the New York, Susquehanna AND Western Railway 3040, Genesee Valley Transportation Co., Inc. MHWA 2453 was borrowed to cover the Utica, New York UT-1 operation for a few days.
