Remarks & Notes
Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Alco DL535 No. 101 rests in the afternoon sun near the roundhouse in Durango, Colorado, on August 30, 2021. The D&SNG purchased four of these six-axle Alco locomotives from White Pass & Yukon Railroad in February 2020. DL535 No. 101 is the first Alco painted in D&SNG’s new paint scheme for diesel road locomotives.
